LAUREN BEUKES Lauren Beukes writes books, short stories, cartoon TV series' and magazine articles. Her new book, Moxyland, a high-octane, high-tech thriller, is out now. De Nooy procrastinated as a bouncer, cartoonist, translator, editor and copywriter, but remained a closet novelist throughout.
